I am Kyle, co-founder of Wealthy Affiliate, and this is my honest review from the inside out. This review is unique in that I am the owner of the platform, but I think because of this I can really offer you a unique, and insightful perspective.
And I am going to be raw with you. Not everything we do is perfect, in fact, we are human and we make mistakes once in awhile too (and I am OK with admitting that).

Our Beginnings…
In 2005, Carson and I started Wealthy Affiliate because the online business world felt scattered, confusing, and salesy.
We knew, we figured it out on our own and were both independently thriving affiliate marketers. Both with a college background in computer science, and both with a desire to fill a big void we saw online…the fact that there was real help…and if there was some level of help, it certainly wasn’t affordable.
New entrepreneurs were told to stitch together a dozen tools, guess at a niche, gamble on expensive courses, and figure out hosting and tech alone.
We wanted the opposite. One login. One clear path. Real support. Practical education that gets a website live, content published, traffic rolling in, and then revenue.
We did not launch with a grand vision of decades. We launched with a commitment to help people succeed, then showed up every day to honor that.
Twenty years later, that is still the reason we are here, and here is my latest post that explains a bit more about our story.
The Landscape Shift: What Changed (and What Didn’t)
The internet has changed a lot since those early nights answering member questions until 2 a.m (not to say I still don’t do it).
Social platforms rose and fell (remember My Space). Search engines evolved drastically (Yahoo was the most popular search engine when I started out). Then AI arrived and totally rewired creation.
It has been a crazy, but fun journey. But though a lot has changed, there are some things that haven’t.
What hasn’t changed is what it takes to build something real online. You need a plan that cuts through noise, tools that save time instead of stealing it, and a community that keeps you going when motivation dips.
